I have bad reactions to most bites—mosquitoes, fleas, marine stingers—itchy, burning red welts, blisters, and bruises that sometimes leave permanent scars. Nevertheless, I love the outdoors and swimming in the ocean so I just deal with it.

These may look awful (and they were) but they were pretty typical of what would happen if I ran into a particularly large stinging jellyfish. I’m a World Open Water Swimming Association coach and technical official, and our Safety First policy means we put a lot of thought into and have experience in dealing with ocean mishaps. I do everything recommended—rinse with seawater, then either vinegar and/or very hot water depending on the likely organism, remove any part of the stinger still left, and this still happens.
Thinking that Majick Juice had vinegar and soothing essential oils, I sprayed it on the bites. It already felt terrible, so the worst may be it’d hurt just a bit more?
Instead, it instantly soothed them, and visibly brought the swelling down. Within a couple of days, they healed. I never had the insane itching that comes from the irritation as well as normal tissue healing. I’ve tried every kind of prevention as well as treatment, product, recommendation, prescription lotions potions & tablets (the best was a super expensive manukah cream we’d order from New Zealand) … but the only thing that really works for me is Majick Juice. For a lover of outdoors and the sea, this has truly been majick.
